The museum has a specially designed, modern exhibition room showing the history of Musselburgh from its earliest days in Prehistoric times, through Roman settlement and medieval upheaval, to its fame as a thriving fishing harbour and valuable industrial site during World War II. Come and find out more! There will also be school visits and activities – visit this website for all the latest news and events.

The museum is being run by and for the community, headed by the Musselburgh Museum and Heritage Group (MM&HG) and with support from ELC Museums Service. There is also information about the Musselburgh Museum on the EL Museums website.
